Are you ready to take on a crucial role in shaping the technical standards that drive the world's leading cloud infrastructure? At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are seeking a dedicated Release Manager for Data Center Engineering to help streamline processes and enhance collaboration across global teams. In this dynamic position, you will be the backbone of our Basis of Design (BOD) program, ensuring that our documentation and technical standards are meticulously organized and maintained. You will partner with both internal and external teams to define, review, and distribute essential documentation that underpins our infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the end-to-end BOD release cycle and fostering continuous improvement of standards and processes. Coordinating with engineering teams to validate and enhance technical documentation. Providing expert guidance on documentation standards, collaborating with teams around the globe. Managing stakeholder communications and addressing any escalations related to BOD releases. Overseeing document control systems and ensuring version management is upheld. This role may require up to 25% travel. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in project management involving scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management. 3+ years of technical product or program management experience. Proven analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working directly with engineering teams for at least 3 years. Proficiency in using MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint. Experience developing and executing product and technical roadmaps.
