This position is contingent on contract award.* Description The System Architect develops strategic solutions integrating diverse Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) tools into a unified system based on requirements. Uses COTS tools alongside Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions to meet customer needs. Works individually or as part of a team. Analyzes the impact of modifications and recommends adjustments to the architecture. Applies appropriate software development and design methodologies. Provides input on tool integration applicability. Capabilities for Level 4 System Architect Establishes system information requirements through analysis of information engineers for enterprise-wide or large-scale systems. Designs architecture including software, hardware, and communication components to support requirements and interfaces. Ensures systems are compatible and compliant with agency IT standards and profiles, considering platform, integration, and external interfaces. Analyzes work flow and planning problems, developing corrective actions. Ensures compliance of the operating system and supervises staff. Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, PAM Services, and MS Exchange is required if assigned to Directory Services TTOs. Qualifications Associates degree with 10 years relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 6 years relevant experience. Requirements U.S. Citizenship required. Employment contingent on security background check and polygraph. Certification in DoD 8570 IAT Level II and OS Certification required.
