What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Riverside Services maintenance division, you’ll:
Operate a parking lot sweeper truck to clean and maintain parking lots, driveways, and other outdoor commercial areas.
Ensure the truck is functioning properly and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Monitor and clean all areas as directed, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Safely and efficiently navigate parking lots, working around vehicles, debris, and obstacles.
Manage the proper disposal of debris and trash collected during the sweeping process.
Complete daily reports to document work completed and any issues encountered during the shift.
Ensure the equipment is thoroughly cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.
What It Takes to Succeed
3+ years of experience
operating sweeper trucks or similar outdoor maintenance equipment.
A
valid driver’s license and clean driving record .
A
valid DOT card
(or the ability to get one quickly).
Comfort working
overnight shifts
and in changing outdoor conditions.
Confidence working
independently
and staying on task without supervision.
Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to
lift up to 50 lbs
, sit for long periods, and work outdoors.
