As Needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a

Technical Project Manager.

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing one or more Task Orders, providing both strategic and tactical oversight to ensure successful delivery of technical products and services. This role includes full lifecycle project management responsibilities such as planning, integration, execution, and performance tracking across all elements of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). The Technical Project Manager ensures that all efforts remain within cost, schedule, and performance parameters and is accountable for supervising multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. Aviation-related experience is highly valued. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor's degree in a specialty relevant to the task area being managed

1-20 years of experience in project or task order management

Experience in managing, planning, integrating, and implementing complex systems or equipment

Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise the work of subordinate personnel

Proven ability to manage technical performance, cost, and schedule across multiple task orders

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Master's degree in a specialty relevant to the task area being managed (may be substituted for 5 years of relevant management and supervisory experience)

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

Experience managing aviation-related or FAA projects and systems

Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), Agile methodologies, or other project management frameworks

RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the Project Manager for one or more Task Orders

Provide strategic and technical leadership to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in accordance with contract requirements

Oversee and ensure technical performance and delivery of all WBS products and services

Manage risk, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed

Supervise and coordinate the work of assigned personnel and multidisciplinary teams

Interface with stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors, to report on progress and performance

Ensure compliance with all technical, financial, and contractual obligations

Support resource planning, staff assignments, and performance evaluations
