Job Title: Senior Data Systems Analyst Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: Our Operations organization is seeking an experienced data and Cloud technology professional for the position of a Data Systems Analyst (DSA). This role involves designing and implementing data and analytics solutions, utilizing data warehousing skills to support the development of the Operations Data platform. The role requires collaboration with senior business and cross-functional stakeholders, including IT, with a focus on enabling faster data solutions for Operations. Key Responsibilities: Interact with stakeholders across Planning, Logistics, Services, and Quality to understand business processes, define data requirements, and deliver end-to-end data solutions. Develop detailed user stories to capture business requirements, metrics, data fabrication logic, rules, and acceptance criteria. Analyze data sources and map business needs to technical data requirements through fit-gap analysis and stakeholder discussions. Create a comprehensive data dictionary to ensure clarity and consistency of data elements. Design ERDs and complex data models suitable for data lakes, warehouses, and marts, understanding business processes and data relationships. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions. Work with Data Engineers to develop end-to-end data pipelines for processing and creating data products. Test and validate data products against source data to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements. Define data governance, quality, security policies, and manage data privacy and access controls. Present and review design solutions independently with the team for implementation. Must-Have Skills/Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent, with programming experience in SQL and supporting Supply Chain Operations data needs. At least 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, with multiple projects involving data lakehouse technologies. 7+ years of experience analyzing Planning, forecasting, logistics, and fulfillment data from SAP, Anaplan, Agile PLM, etc. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise databases (SAP BW/HANA). Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems like SAP and Salesforce, with experience analyzing reports from Tableau, PowerBI, SAP BO. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading multiple analytics projects in fast-paced environments. Data science or machine learning experience. Ability to improve data management and reporting processes, including data monitoring and quality checks.
