As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our services, applications, and websites are crafted and implemented with the utmost security standards. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security A minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering, system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, or application security Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing security solutions at the business division level Understanding of network and web protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols) Knowledge of web services Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
