Amazon Devices is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to be a pivotal contributor in developing a groundbreaking product that elevates hybrid collaboration through AI. You will oversee the entire application architecture, enhance performance engineering, and lead the product into its next phase. Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead the complete development process, from gathering requirements to implementation, collaborating closely with senior technical leaders across the organization.
Create rapid prototypes to solicit customer feedback and iteratively develop robust, scalable solutions based on customer and business needs.
Establish trust and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including development peers, product and project management, and service leadership.
Mentor and cultivate talent within the team, ensuring the highest standards of quality in delivery.
Tackle diverse challenges spanning device software, services, and full automation, while writing performant, secure, and optimized code.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
2+ years of design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scalability of new and existing systems.
Proficient in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of comprehensive software development life cycle experience, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

The compensation for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on the geographic market, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role offers a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a wide range of benefits.
