Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Senior Advisor Job Locations US Responsibilities Peraton has an immediate need for an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Senior Advisor. This is a remote position. What you'll do: Apply technical expertise to lead agile teams as a Senior Advisor with a Scrum Master background working on complex development challenges and providing product solutions in accordance with Agile Methodologies. Collaborate with architects and developers to build system frameworks, defining essential core design features. Incorporate engineering strategies for integrating new technology into the customer's infrastructure related to collection, analysis, production, and dissemination processes. Perform feasibility analyses on future projects, providing cost-benefit assessments to determine optimal solutions using existing components. Design improved processes aligned with enterprise IT or engineering needs, ensuring requirements are consistent with the technical architecture. Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Support development activities by liaising with the customer, understanding requirements, and assisting Product Owners with backlog management. Prioritize features, participate in Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and lead daily stand-up meetings. Coordinate among cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure timely releases of code. Support the development of a software environment covering the entire SDLC, including Continuous Deployment, Agile, and DevOps methodologies. Qualifications What you'll need: Education: 12 years with BS/BA; 10 years with MS; or 7 years with a PhD; or 16 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree. Active DoD Secret clearance. Working knowledge of AI and ML technologies. Understanding of IT standards, SDLC, and project management frameworks. Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow. Strong leadership and collaboration skills. Experience with tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins, Zephyr, Docker, PostgreSQL. Excellent communication skills. Desired Experience: Experience in software development, Java, full-stack development. Experience working with structured and unstructured data. Experience architecting storage solutions for enterprise needs. CI/CD experience. Hands-on AWS experience; AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred. Experience with modern web development (React, Angular, Vue). Agile experience; SAFe certifications preferred. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This range varies based on experience and other factors.
