Gather requirements to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems. Customization of existing systems. Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures. Configuration of the system. Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. Functional design, internal QA, user acceptance testing, and end user training. Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate or deviations are proposed. Maintain compatibility between systems. Write and maintain system documentation. Conduct technical research on system upgrades. Use object-oriented programming languages, client and server applications development processes, ERP system, multimedia and Internet technology. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems. Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer-related problems.
