Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the pharmacy application for Memorial, ensuring functionality and configuration to support organizational needs. Provides day-to-day management of the pharmacy application, responsible for end-to-end application and systems configuration including the designing, building, testing, debugging and installation. Serves a mentor and project lead for junior clinical applications administrators and/or analysts.
Responsibilities:
Applies subject matter expertise to design, install, modify and test pharmacy application software to support and optimize operational work processes.Recommends best practice workflows and develops business plans for automating and optimizing processes that transform and improve clinical care and patient safety.Provides decision support related to medication.Oversee application related server, support, troubleshooting and maintenance including custom functionality in order to meet end user specifications that are aligned with strategic goals.Analyzes clinical processes and data to identify opportunities and improve existing processes using information technology.Provides problem solving, troubleshooting, and code debugging intermediate issues at the technical and application levels, identifying root-cause and recommends llaborates with other applications team members, vendors, department staff to provide technical and clinical support.Builds and maintains medication related records in systems.Maintains and deploys understanding of system development and project management methodologies in assessment, planning, design, workflow analysis, timelines, and testing, during implementation, optimization and ongoing operations.Provides expert and creative solutions to user requirements, inquiries and problems.Analyzes functionality and tests new releases to determine best use by end users, investigating preferred choices of end users.Gathers users' feedback to assure system is operating and performing according to specifications.
