Overview S2 Global, an OSI Systems Company, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to work onsite in Torrance, CA. S2 Global is a leading provider of security screening solutions, specializing in program assessment, technology deployment, operation management, image analysis, and maintenance services at major events, ports, land borders, and air cargo facilities. Focused on Operations, Integration, and Training, S2 Global's solutions enhance screening capabilities with advanced technologies and techniques. Responsibilities Assess and define cybersecurity design requirements for the S2 Global CertScan Integration Platform and related hardware/software within a standardized security framework. Educate product design staff and stakeholders on cybersecurity impacts on product design and support. Develop and document innovative security solutions for networked products used in diverse, long-term installations. Analyze, report, and manage security risks, including corrective actions, risk registers, and security assessments. Contribute to development and execution of product test protocols, assessing vulnerabilities and recommending remediation. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test results and implement remediation strategies. Lead vulnerability assessments against emerging threats, identifying root causes and remediation strategies, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders. Support the use of standardized processes by preparing SOPs and protocols to ensure product security throughout its lifecycle. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field. 10-15 years of IT security experience. Ability to obtain or transfer US federal background check/clearance, meet drug screening and access requirements; US citizenship required. Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCNA Security, GIAC, or equivalent. Familiarity with security standards and frameworks including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, IEC 80001, CMMC, GDPR, NIS2, FED-ramp, ISO 27001, and US government ATO processes like RMF. Experience with security control assessments, vulnerability testing, and security policy documentation. Proven project management skills in cybersecurity initiatives. Experience in security design for products and supporting supply chain risk management. Knowledge of industrial systems and IoT is desirable. Technical expertise in OS and network security across physical, virtual, and cloud environments (AWS). Hands-on experience with embedded Windows/Linux, mobile, RTOS, and security systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, etc.). Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a team and global environment. Previous DoD contractor or ISSM experience is a plus.
