Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures and solutions.
Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and minimize risks.
Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures.
Monitor security systems, responding to incidents swiftly and effectively.
Stay informed about the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security practices within all business operations.
Offer technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in network or cyber engineering.
In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
Proficient in network security, systems security, application security, and data protection.
Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and SIEM.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH.
Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
