What You Will Do: Join our Common Data portfolio as a Senior Product Owner and contribute significantly to the development of a new Data Platform. Define market requirements and package features into product releases that align with Evolent’s mission. Utilize Agile methodologies to serve as a product owner on a dedicated development team, focusing on Common and Foundational Data. Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to translate roadmap features into actionable development criteria, including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work with a cross-functional team to design new features and improve existing functionalities while prioritizing the backlog for effective development. Engage in issue/risk assessment and propose innovative solutions to stay on track with time and resource constraints. Ensure consistent and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Drive system user acceptance and support the creation of essential training materials, such as release notes and user guides, enhancing user comprehension of data and software functionalities. Organize and conduct regular product demonstrations to stakeholders, showcasing new features. Participate in the established production support process, including gap analysis and issue replication. Direct the Agile development team and stakeholders, planning and prioritizing the product feature backlog to maximize value delivery. Participate in user acceptance testing and provide insights for systems sign-off. Foster teamwork across product, engineering, and stakeholder teams through Technical Domain Forums. Simplify technical communications for executive presentations and delivery during Executive Level Roadmap Steering Committee meetings. The Experience You’ll Need (Required): Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years of experience in healthcare, IT business analysis, or product management. Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies. Experience with FHIR-based solutions in the Healthcare IT sector. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive team player who is passionate about goals and stakeholder relationships. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio). Finishing Touches (Preferred): Degree in a technical field or related area. Knowledge of healthcare data formats (e.g., eligibility, claims, authorizations). Prior experience with SQL, Python, statistical software, or similar programming languages is a plus. Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban). Experience in writing product documentation including release notes and user guides. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, plus eligible bonuses based on predefined performance metrics.
