Job Title: Software Development Engineer Job Description: Join our team as a Software Development Engineer and play a crucial role in developing and maintaining an automated test infrastructure for a large-scale, microservice-oriented system. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our platform, enabling rapid and scalable development in the future. Responsibilities: Design and maintain an automated test infrastructure for a large-scale microservice-oriented system. Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end system integration scenarios and user acceptance scenarios. Translate user stories into test scenarios and cases, providing feedback to ensure testability. Collaborate with other business groups and external teams for end-to-end integration. Partner with developers to create, maintain, and execute automated unit and integration tests. Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Work with Product Owners and users to execute user tests. Oversee delivery of work from concept to production. Develop tools and libraries to enable rapid and scalable development. Essential Skills: 5+ years of experience in software engineering focused on creating and executing automated tests. 2+ years of experience with Linux/Unix-based systems. AWS experience - testing components within AWS. Experience testing back-end services and APIs. Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with test automation frameworks. Experience with CI/CD and build pipeline tasks. Experience in estimation, prioritization, and planning in an Agile environment. Familiarity with systems like Jira for tracking and ensuring traceability. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop healthy working relationships and collaborate effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in validation or delivery of connected car services. Experience with Python and Spark. Experience solving real-life problems using Selenium. Experience in behavior-driven development and test-driven development frameworks such as Cucumber, JBehave, or JGiven. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $78.00/hr.
