Under the direction of the Information Technology Services Manager, the Senior Programmer/Systems Administrator is responsible for: Installing, upgrading, and monitoring software and hardware; Maintaining and modifying custom software systems through planning, analyzing, establishing requirements, designing, developing, integrating, testing, implementing, verifying, and maintaining operations; Providing training and support for the entire agency. Additional responsibilities include: Developing and modifying reports and dashboards using SQL and SSRS; retrieving data; recommending changes or new programs; installing and administering MS SQL databases and Reporting Services; Developing and modifying agency-created web applications utilizing .NET (VB, C#, ), HTML, XML, PHP, and TSQL; Researching hardware/software needs, evaluating system performance, and recommending improvements; Evaluating network security, defining user access levels, and addressing security concerns; Training users on applications and Office software, troubleshooting, and providing technical support; Responding to help desk requests, assisting end-users remotely or in person, and managing account and password issues. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Five (5) years' experience in SQL Administration, .NET system design and development, and user support; Understanding of evidence-based public health practices and policies; Compliance with tobacco and nicotine use policies; Active participation during public health emergencies, including potential changes in responsibilities and work locations; Completion of ICS 100 and NIMS 700 courses within 90 days of hire; Valid Ohio driver's license and vehicle insurance. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in related fields; Participation in PHDMC's benefits programs.
