Amazon WorkDocs is a fully managed cloud service designed for business users to securely store, find, and organize content, allowing them to enhance their productivity. The WorkDocs product encompasses various elements, including core platform services (data plane, control plane, and search), web experiences, desktop and mobile client experiences, add-ins, and APIs. Integral to Amazon's document writing culture, WorkDocs is utilized across every level for document review and collaboration.
We seek a well-rounded Software Development Engineer with expertise in web client technologies and frameworks, particularly React. You should have a proven track record in solving complex technical challenges and creating exceptional products for end users. Your role will involve developing new collaborative experiences and services tailored for Enterprise Information Workers.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
Experience with at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience through the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Knowledge of core web client technologies, particularly React.
Experience with native client technologies such as C#, .NET Core, and WPF.
Ability to develop multi-platform clients for Web, Windows/PC, and MacOS.

The compensation for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market, depending on various factors including location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive employee benefits.
