Purpose of Your Work: As a Staff Data Scientist working within Managed Services (one of our entities),you will be responsible for developing tech-forward solutions to drive automation and informed decision-making within our business. You will delve into unique and complex issues within the logistics space and partner with cross-functional teams across business, technology, and product to ideate, develop, recommend, and implement solutions. You will leverage your skill set in statistics, machine learning, and operations research to build various models and simulations, delivering results and communicating actionable insights. How You Make a Difference Everyday: Develop and implement models and simulations that leverage operations research, statistics, and machine learning technologies without our managed services group, that impact metrics and streamline network operations Identify new opportunities to drive business impact through data exploration and collaboration with key stakeholders Conduct a root cause analysis to identify the key drivers influencing operational performance and variance in outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and product teams, to gather inputs, assumptions, and understand business processes along the way You've Got This? Compensation Range: Salary Range: $140,000 - $220,000 This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance. The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
