Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and Data Software Engineer Job Summary: Software Engineer (Troy, MI, or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.) with responsibilities including: developing software data-driven models to accelerate early detection and resolution of quality issues; creating next-generation software algorithms for forecasting warranty and field issues through fusion of multiple data sources; designing software tools such as automated data ingestion, data management, statistical models (API), and visualizations; developing applications using Python/R & Power BI for diagnostic analysis and understanding customer feedback; building models and algorithms for connected car data shared with R&D teams; collaborating with connected car and IT software teams to ensure integration of R&D tools with enterprise systems; utilizing various data sources to identify product quality issues and promote quick countermeasures involving design, manufacturing, and suppliers. Education/Experience Required: M.S. in Computer Science or related field, including coursework in machine learning, statistical modeling, deep learning, neural networks, AI, web development, APIs, automotive cybersecurity, and Python data analysis. Telecommuting permitted. 10% domestic travel. 40 hours/week, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
