Position Summary:
EES is seeking Network Engineers at the Journeyman, Senior, and SME levels to support FAA modernization efforts. These roles provide advanced network troubleshooting, optimization, and sustainment of communications infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted system performance.
Qualifications:
Journeyman: Education: BS/BA
Experience: 5–7 years
Senior: Education: BS/BA
Experience: 8–11 years
SME: Education: BS/BA
Experience: 12+ years
Experience with advanced network troubleshooting and diagnostics
Proficiency in routing, switching, and network performance optimization
Familiarity with FAA communications infrastructure and standards
Ability to support network sustainment and incident resolution
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and protocols
Strong documentation and communication skills
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
Roles and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across FAA systems
Optimize network performance and ensure high availability
Support sustainment of communications infrastructure
Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams
Maintain network documentation and support compliance efforts
Provide technical guidance on network upgrades and modernization
