This role involves coding, designing, modifying, and testing computer programs within our dynamic Information Technology department. The Software Developer will work closely with Team Leaders and independently to create specifications, design solutions, mentor less experienced developers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal application performance. Primary Responsibilities: Develop solutions by creating specifications, designing, and coding, either independently or collaboratively. Mentor and provide training to other Software Developers. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, design procedures, and recommend solutions. Ensure application performance and uptime, actively resolving issues. Write, test, and debug complex programs, including preparing and reviewing test data. Document programs and procedures to maintain a knowledge base. Perform other programming duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Proficient in systems analysis, design, and programming. Extensive experience with C# coding and maintenance. Skilled in database querying (SQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.). Knowledge of website development and programming (ASP, MVC). Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and solution recommendation skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and determine resolutions. Understanding of project lifecycles. Commitment to self-development and learning new technical skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a large workload with urgency. Proven independent judgment and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Availability for rotating on-call support of production systems.
