Job Title:
Quality Control Inspector
Pay Rate:
$20/hr.
Shift:
5 AM - 1:30 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Inspector to join our team at a pipe manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished pipes to ensure they meet company and industry quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and test incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished pipes for quality, specifications, and defects.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality checks.
• Report and quarantine non-conforming materials or products.
• Communicate quality concerns with production and management teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and internal procedures.
• Perform audits on production lines to identify potential quality issues.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions when defects are found.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in quality control is a plus.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or quality inspection, preferably in the pipe or plastic industry.
• Familiarity with quality standards and testing methods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel or quality software ).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
