Title and Summary
Vice President, Data Scientist F/T
Overview Develop a long-term vision and roadmap of how to advance data infrastructure and analytics to the next level, exploring new technologies as appropriate.
Role Work closely with the business teams around the world to architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting and data visualization capabilities on large volumes of data to support core analytics, predictive, prescriptive, and reporting needs of various products, markets, and services. Create repeatable processes to support development of new analytics, modeling, and reporting. Work with cross functional teams (product, finance, technologies) in the pursuit of building best in class analytical infrastructure. Apply quality control, data validation, and cleansing processes to new and existing data assets. Promote data-driven analysis and analytics within the company. Provide comprehensive leadership, direction, and training to the D&A team. Maintain expertise in the area of data management, including industry trends, strategies, and products.
About You Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and six (6) years of experience in job offered or related in financial services or technology company. Qualifying experience must include at least three (3) years with each of the following: SQL, Hive, Spark, Alteryx, Hadoop, Tableau, UNIX, Python, Data Architecture, Data Engineering. Rate of pay: $257,412 - $368,000 / year Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
