GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit, the IT auditor will perform internal audit projects as part of the annual internal audit plan. Responsibilities include assisting with periodic reporting, developing audit policies and procedures, and contributing to the annual audit plan. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct audits under the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) compliance initiative and outside of SOX scope. Determine detailed audit procedures, prepare audit programs, and perform testing. Evaluate the effectiveness of IT general controls. Assess control exposures and draft audit reports with management recommendations. Document and update process flowcharts and narratives. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Travel up to 20% to domestic and global facilities. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Must understand internal audit concepts, be able to work independently and in teams, and possess strong communication skills. Confidentiality and understanding of SOX, COSO, COBIT, and risk assessment are required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred. Over 3 years of experience in auditing IT controls. Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or Oracle NetSuite is a plus. ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively. Basic math skills and the ability to apply common sense to instructions. Valid driver's license required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Includes typical office activities, occasional travel, and physical requirements such as sitting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
