The AWS team is in search of seasoned and passionate technologists who blend technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal abilities. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with Telecommunications and Unified Communications clients, AWS Sales, and various AWS teams to develop highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that resolve customer business issues while accelerating the adoption of AWS services. Working alongside the sales team, you will drive revenue growth among a select group of North America Telco customers. As a trusted advocate for our customers, you will guide organizations in best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and support them in migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
This role is a unique opportunity to shape and execute strategies that foster mindshare and broad usage of AWS within enterprise customers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has a proven history in software or technology sales or consulting. The ability to link technology to tangible business value is essential for a successful Solutions Architect. You should also possess a demonstrated strategic mindset regarding business, products, and technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform as a key member of the sales team.
Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and implement a sales strategy that surpasses revenue targets through AWS adoption.
Manage the overall technical relationship with customers, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Educate clients of all sizes about the value proposition of AWS and engage in in-depth architectural discussions to ensure solutions are well-prepared for cloud deployment.
Conduct training sessions to impart knowledge to customers considering or currently using AWS.
Share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
Foster strong relationships with senior technical individuals at customer organizations to empower them to become cloud advocates.
Serve as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with applications and infrastructures.
4+ years of expertise in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in software development or Internet-related fields.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
Familiarity with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
