Senior Android Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for building robust, high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Java , while working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ship innovative features that provide a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities Design and build advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features Integrate apps with external APIs and data sources Write unit tests to ensure code robustness and reliability Debug and resolve bugs , and continuously improve performance Research and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience Proficiency in Kotlin and Java Strong command of the Android SDK , versions, and device-specific considerations Experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integration Solid grasp of Android UI/UX design principles , Material Design, and best practices Experience with offline storage , multithreading , and performance tuning Familiarity with push notifications and cloud messaging Proficient in Git and version control workflows Experience with CI/CD tools and automated build/deployment processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
