For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in Australia. About the opportunity We are seeking a motivated Cloud Infrastructure Senior Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your skills in multi-cloud technologies, automation and deployment via infrastructure as code (IaC). As a Cloud Infrastructure Senior Specialist, you will work closely with senior cloud engineers to support and grow our cloud infrastructure and contribute to the automation and optimization of cloud resources. What you'll get to do Design, implement and maintain scalable, efficient and secure cloud infrastructure solutions platforms using infrastructure as code. Build automation tools and frameworks to improve infrastructure management through converting CloudFormation templates to Terraform. Develop and enhance repeatable processes via scripts (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell etc.). Work closely with our global cloud engineering team to deliver on our automation and innovation strategy to reduce manual effort. Provide mentorship to your team members and other teams for technical guidance and cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary. Collaborate with other Engineers to ensure standards and best practices are maintained. Skills and experience we value 5+ years' experience in designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure as code cloud solutions using Terraform and other related tools. Demonstrated track record of automating cloud infrastructure and daily tasks to streamline operations and increase efficiency. Strong experience with tools and scripting languages such as Git, TerraformCloud, ArgoCD, Python, Powershell, and Bash. Excellent understanding of core AWS components such as compute, networking, storage, database, and security, and CloudFormation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. What makes you stand out: Experience with containerization technologies, including EKS, Docker and Kubernetes. Solid DevOps experience working in an Agile environment. AWS and other relevant technology certifications. Experience working with Azure via infrastructure as code.
