Lead Software Engineer , you'll take ownership of cloud-native solutions supporting the storage, management, and secure delivery of high-value
SSR data . You'll serve as the technical anchor for a team of 15-20 engineers, helping shape architecture, drive performance, and ensure mission readiness at every stage. microservices-based architectures
to manage system SSR data Building
RESTful services
using
Java Spring Boot
to process and interface with complex data objects Creating and optimizing
automation routines
in
Python
for
AWS-native services
such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3 Designing and maintaining secure, scalable
CI/CD pipelines
using
Maven ,
GitLab , and
GitOps workflows Representing the team during customer meetings,
technical exchange meetings (TEMs) , and planning discussions Driving
Agile development practices
and participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and standups Ensuring secure integration using
OAuth/OIDC protocols
for authentication and authorization Managing team delivery against
program schedules , quality benchmarks, and mission priorities Mentoring junior engineers, fostering collaboration, and promoting technical excellence within the team Minimum Qualifications Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen Clearance:
Top Secret with Full Scope Polygraph (CI polygraph active within the last 7 years) Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline + 15 years of experience OR Master's degree + 13 years of experience OR Associate's degree + 17 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED + 19 years of experience
Demonstrated
leadership in Agile software development
and delivery across large-scale systems Required Skills Expert-level proficiency in
Java (Spring Boot)
or
Python Experience designing, deploying, and integrating
microservices architectures Deep familiarity with
AWS services
(Lambda, EC2, S3, Step Functions) Strong command of
CI/CD tools
including
Maven ,
GitLab ,
GitOps ,
Kubernetes ,
Docker , and
Ansible Advanced knowledge of
NoSQL databases , including
MongoDB
and
DynamoDB Proficiency in implementing
secure service integrations
with
OAuth/OIDC Experience with
test automation
using frameworks like
Cypress
and
Cucumber Proven ability to
lead, mentor , and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams Desired Qualifications Prior experience
leading development teams
in mission-critical, classified, or high-tempo environments Familiarity with
UTT (Unified Targeting Tool)
or
targeting systems Passion for

Compensation Range: $232,000.00 - $255,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role.
