Reporting To: Supervisor, Production
Work Schedule: Onsite - Salt Lake City, UT
Moog Medical Devices Group designs, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. These advanced infusion systems improve medication/patient safety, optimize application performance, reduce medical expenses and SAVE LIVES. Our Medical Devices team in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for a skilled Assembler to join their dynamic team. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative work environment. As an Assembler I, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for: Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
Cross training on multiple production lines
To be considered for this Assembler I role, here's what you'll need to bring with you: HS Diploma or equivalent required, Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired.
1+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Medical Devices experience preferred
Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and device instructions, both written and verbal.
Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office
