This is a hybrid role in Austin, Texas. Position Summary Imperva is hiring a Mainframe IMS Software Developer . You will be part of the z/OS Agent Team, responsible for agent development on the z/OS platform, researching and developing advanced security features, and implementing them using the latest techniques in z/OS. The goal is to fully protect customer databases and critical files on organizational servers. The z/OS Agent product is a key component in Imperva's SecureSphere line. As a team member, you will be involved in high-profile projects and gain a unique perspective into Imperva products. You will be the primary developer for the IMS products and features. Key Areas of Responsibility Research, design, and code new features for the IMS products Create detailed designs based on research for development and testing Diagnose product issues, design, and implement corrective maintenance Participate in all parts of the product lifecycle and collaborate with product management Work with the team to develop security-based products for z/OS Basic Qualifications Minimum 10 years of product development in a multitasking environment Strong knowledge of HLASM (IBM High-level Assembler) Strong knowledge of IMS DB/TM system and internals Strong diagnosis and debugging skills on z/OS Excellent communication and design skills Experience with SRBs and 64-bit programming Experience with z/OS recovery environments and mechanisms Preferred Skills Knowledge of DB2 internals Experience with C programming Knowledge of TCP/IP Compensation The anticipated range is $154,163.48 - $261,855.00 USD annually.
