Description Identifies, solves, and resolves significant software and hardware integration issues prior to vehicle builds. Communicates and coordinates test plans efficiently with multiple teams including controls managers, validation, and design release engineers. Participates in meetings and provides feedback to management teams and peers on all issues that impact software readiness and timing. Supports root-cause analysis for problem resolution at a system and component level. Creates Test Procedures and Criteria. Communicates, coordinates, and consults with engineering departments. Performs all aspects of design and development of Automotive Electronic Controllers (ECUs), especially of Audio and Video Systems, their application, and integration in vehicle design. Participates in software and calibration work. Conducts integration meetings, creates minutes, and tracks action items. Reads across issues to other vehicle lines and assembly plants. Tracks issue resolution to software and hardware break points. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 Days In-office, 2 Days Remote - Must be able to report to listed local office Additional Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Deployment Engineer, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with electrical test equipment, including meters and scopes; MOST, ETHERNET, LAN, and LIN; common serial data test equipment such as CAT, SCAT, NeoVI, SDATT, DiComPhySys, or DPS Tool; automotive electrical systems and functional sub-systems; and engineering software and systems for infotainment and vehicle systems.
