Base pay range $107,500.00/yr - $128,500.00/yr BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. You should currently hold or be able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION: Within a high-tech environment focusing on software and hardware system integration, research, development, and manufacturing, you will be responsible for delivering architectures, designs, testing, and production of torpedo guidance and control systems for the Department of Defense, enhancing capabilities in target detection, acquisition, and prosecution. You will be a technology leader in areas including technology insertion, acoustic sensors, signal processing, guidance, cybersecurity, and high-reliability systems. DUTIES AND TASKS: Design, develop, test, integrate, and configure software applications and components, including diagnostics/debugging of existing code. Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and ensure system performance meets requirements for deployment. Document software development processes, including test plans, design documentation, and requirements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficiency with C/C++, Object-Oriented Development, MATLAB, LabWindows/CVI, SQL, and Windows/Visual Studio. Ability to implement ideas from scratch, own major features, and maintain and improve software over time. Experience in technical architecture decisions, Windows application development (Win32, WPF, WinUI 3), and software design patterns like MVVM and MVP. Experience with Windows kernel debugging, diagnostics, and low-level system development. Experience with DevOps practices such as version control, automation, and agile development. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers), communication protocols (GPIB, RS232, SPI), and hardware interfacing (PXI, CRIO, CDAQ).
