The Senior Data Scientist (Adobe Practice) will take a hands-on role in utilizing Machine Learning and Big Data technologies within the Adobe Marketing Cloud, including Adobe Journey Analytics, as well as third-party tools like Databricks and R. This position involves building scalable machine learning data products and solutions. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify insight requirements and creatively testing hypotheses. Preparing data, building models, analyzing and visualizing results, and integrating solutions into innovative data products. Championing the latest advancements in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, especially in Generative AI. Applying cutting-edge algorithms based on statistical modeling and optimization to develop new data products or enhance existing ones. Specializing in data pipeline construction, machine learning model development, and advanced analytics. Defining project requirements with team leads and other data scientists, while evaluating the effectiveness of models created. Building expert knowledge of various data sources for audience segmentation solutions. Transitioning development projects into production systems in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams. Preparing and delivering compelling analytical presentations while effectively communicating complex concepts. Mentoring and guiding junior data scientists as necessary. Required Skills: Expert-level experience with Adobe's analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Journey Analytics) and third-party SaaS tools (e.g., Databricks, R). Extensive experience applying statistics and data science tools on large datasets. Deep understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, including neural networks/deep learning, SVM, decision trees, clustering, regression, and dimensionality reduction techniques. Specialization in Generative AI. Proficiency in model training approaches, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation. Demonstrated expertise in data preparation for modeling tasks. Technical proficiency in Python/R, APIs, Excel, LLMs, SQL, and Power Automate. Experience with Spark/PySpark in distributed computing environments. Strong SQL skills for handling large datasets efficiently. Ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data. Exceptional communication skills to present data insights to non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving capabilities and a creative mindset for data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Math) or a related program with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field along with relevant work experience. We seek someone who is self-motivated, values collaboration, and is eager to stay abreast of emerging data science and machine learning technologies.
