Overview:
A high-growth technology organization is seeking a
Senior Network Engineer II
to join its collaborative Technical Operations team. This hands-on role is critical to designing, building, and modernizing a secure, scalable, hybrid infrastructure that spans on-premise and multi-cloud environments. If you're passionate about infrastructure-as-code, automation, and solving real-world problems in a high-impact setting—this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
Design, implement, and manage hybrid network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
Own technical initiatives supporting infrastructure modernization, automation, and observability
Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues, break/fix, and system escalations
Administer Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, Juniper/Cisco switching and routing
Configure and maintain VPNs, VLANs, wireless solutions, and authentication protocols (LDAP, RADIUS)
Automate routine processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting tools
Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Engineering, and Support teams
Participate in rotational on-call support and high-impact change events
Create and maintain documentation, technical diagrams, and change records
What You’ll Bring:
6+ years of enterprise-level network/system engineering experience
Advanced expertise with:
Palo Alto
firewalls & Panorama
Juniper
or
Cisco
routing/switching
VLANs, OSPF/BGP, VPNs (IPSec), 802.1x, NAC
Strong hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers
Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
Exposure to
AWS ,
Azure , or
GCP
cloud environments
Working knowledge of observability tools and network monitoring
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
certifications:
PCNSE, JNCIE, CCSP, ITIL
