Salesforce Software Engineer

Company: enGen Job Summary: Candidate Must Be US Citizen (due to contractual/access requirements) Highmark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Software Engineer with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead the design, development, implementation, support, and optimization of complex software solutions. This role requires collaborating closely with business and program stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and efficient solutions within the Payer and Provider space. Responsibilities include: Delivering solutions for Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects Ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices Gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications Providing expertise on Salesforce capabilities and best practices Designing and input to architecture for end-to-end solutions considering scalability, performance, security, and maintainability Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration Conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance Identifying and resolving technical issues Staying current with Salesforce trends Presenting/vetting designs with the architecture team and enterprise review board The ideal candidate will leverage business and technology knowledge to influence business processes and systems, mentor less experienced team members, and potentially lead special projects. This role requires ensuring solution integrity, including integrations with other systems (legacy and 3rd party software). The successful candidate will identify and implement products/solutions that build upon existing Salesforce investments, adhere to standards and best practices, align with enterprise architecture, and optimize cost savings. Essential Responsibilities: Designing and creating engineering specifications for software applications and programs Designing & writing code that adheres to coding standards. Perform code reviews Exploring and implementing appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features Participating in all scrum ceremonies, assisting in sprint planning and completing required sprints Creating tasks for their stories in applicable software and updating status and assignment accordingly Monitoring work against production schedule and providing progress updates Mentoring other associate software engineers as needed Other duties as assigned or requested Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Closely Related Field Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related Field Experience: Required: 3 years of Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in the building and deploying of scalable; highly available systems Required: 3 years of Experience in at least one modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred), and experience with at least two of the following: React, Angular v4+, NodeJS, NoSQL databases, HTML5, CSS, Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services. Pay Range Minimum: $67,500.00 Pay Range Maximum: $126,000.00 Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
