Apply now to advance your career with Torch Technologies. We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer (ISSM) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio, supporting three programs under our EPASS GB contract. The role involves supporting AFLCMC/GB BES, managing systems like LMDB, ABCS, LR, AF DSS, and CSWS DE, which are critical to logistics, financial management, and weapon system data exchange for the Air Force. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/POSITION DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will provide cybersecurity support to the PMO/Capability Development Manager (CDM) in accordance with DoDI 8500.01. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring cybersecurity risks, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards such as RMF, CSF, and NIST, and supporting continuous monitoring strategies. The ISSM acts as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor, ensuring cybersecurity integration throughout the system lifecycle, maintaining certification, documenting security measures, coordinating ISCM strategies, monitoring security events, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. The role requires a highly skilled professional capable of performing tasks independently, overseeing junior personnel, and applying advanced knowledge of cybersecurity standards, procedures, and practices relevant to the Program Office, Enterprise, and Staff Level Support. Experience should include guidance on access control, configuration management, system and communications protection, incident handling, system integrity, security training, software development security, and use of automated testing tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and AppScan. Familiarity with DoD tracking systems such as Jira, HP ALM, and eMASS, and experience with ISCM processes are also essential. EDUCATION: Master's or Doctorate in a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 in the DoD; or Bachelor's with 12 years of experience, including 5 in the DoD; or 15 years of related experience with proper certifications, including 8 in the DoD. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must hold at least one of the following IAM Level III cybersecurity certifications: ISACA CISM, (ISC)2 CISSP, GIAC GSLC, or EC Council CCISO, maintained as per DoD 8140 and DoD 8570.01-M guidelines. Additional desired certifications include Certified SCRUM Master and other Agile Certifications. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a US Citizen and maintain a T3/Secret Clearance. Desirable skills include knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as CheckMarx, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
