Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Swing Shift Fabricator role in Eugene. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately. · Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, brakes, shears, grinders, and welding equipment. · Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials to meet precise design specifications. · Perform MIG/TIG welding and ensure all welds meet structural and aesthetic standards. · Inspect finished products for conformance to quality standards and make necessary adjustments. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety protocols. · Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other fabricators to meet production timelines and solve fabrication challenges. · Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication tools and equipment. · Document work completed and track materials used to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding or fabrication is a plus. · Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field is . · Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments. · Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. · Strong math skills and attention to detail. · Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. · Willingness to work swing shift hours, with flexibility for overtime when needed.
