Join the Amazon Device Services organization as a Software Development Engineer and play a crucial role in building innovative cross-platform solutions that drive the successful launch, provisioning, and management of our devices. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the end-to-end supply chain and device operations processes, from product design to returns and repair management. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge systems for our Supply Chain and Operations, focusing on internal teams such as Forward and Reverse Logistics, Warehouse Management, Finance, and more. If you are passionate about technology and driven to improve customer experience by ensuring our devices are always available, this role is for you. Your responsibilities will include: Developing new features for Supply Planning using agile methodologies, including requirement refinement, design, implementation, testing, and support. Collaborating with your agile team in daily stand-ups, mentoring junior developers, and engaging with end-users and product managers. Contributing to design reviews and engineering excellence improvements. About our team: We are a dedicated and efficient group that focuses on automating and optimizing supply chain solutions for Amazon Devices, like Echo, Kindle, FireTV, and Ring. Our mission is to innovate and create the next generation of solutions in our rapidly growing devices division. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship). 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience through the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational support.
