The Physical Therapist Assistant will implement personalized physical therapy programs to help patients meet their functional goals. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge and skills to assist with the physical and developmental needs of various patient populations. Ability to remain composed in emergency or crisis situations. Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited program. At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide. Current licensure from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR), the PTA will actively participate in implementing treatment plans. This role requires proficiency in several key responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, evaluate needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists to enhance recovery. Design and implement care plans tailored to each patient's assessment, involving their support network when appropriate. Conduct therapy sessions adhering to established care standards. Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols in the workplace. Adhere to all company policies related to resident rights and confidentiality (HIPAA). Understand and follow the Employee Handbook policies. Perform additional duties as assigned.
