Prep Cook Position
We are seeking a skilled and organized Prep Cook to join our team and assist with the preparation of high-quality meals for our guests. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with the production of menu items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for menu items; including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring out spices and other ingredients. - Assist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standards. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food items. - Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food. - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as prep cook or in a similar role. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. - Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Basic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines. - Basic math skills.
