We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician II performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. Unlock your potential here!Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician II with us:You will do non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, You will prepare unit dose drug You will be delivering medications to patient care areasYou will check medication storage areas for outdatedYou will need to complete billing duties You may work in an IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.Qualifications you will need for this role:A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Pharmacy Technician certificate or a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate. If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.High school diplomaTwo years' experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.HCA HealthONE, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the Rocky Mountain region, offers more than 170 care sites in the Denver metro area.
