We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities The Cloud Engineer will support cloud engineering, platform engineering, and data and application security. Develop and deliver modular enterprise architecture, engineering design, and implementation plans for identity management to support the organization's mission and vision. The modular enterprise design must be flexible enough to support infrastructure hosting workloads across various cloud service providers. Provide support for cloud adoption and migration, offering technical guidance to design modular operating system baselines supporting the data and application hosting strategy. Offer technical guidance in engineering a modular security design to protect workloads hosting services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Requirement: Applicants must be eligible for a government security investigation and meet eligibility criteria, including U.S. Citizenship. ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is REQUIRED. Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience. Working knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Java, Python, and/or Ruby. Knowledge of virtual networks and network management functions. Skills in cloud database management, with knowledge of MySQL and Hadoop. Technical Responsibilities Support integration of open-source frameworks/products, deploying various open-source packages into production environments, including multi-core, multi-threaded, and distributed systems. Develop and document requirements and specifications.
