About the Role:

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing control databases, user interfaces, and setting up control systems based on project specifications and proposals. Your expertise will shine in field startup and system commissioning tasks while providing both on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers. Additionally, you will mentor team members, sharing your specialized knowledge. What You'll Do: Design and create programming logic using flow diagrams and sequences of operation guided by project specs or proposals. Program control applications utilizing various software tools to support operator workstations and DDC field panels, ensuring effective integration with third-party devices through multiple communication protocols. Handle on-site and remote installation of software and control programs, following up with system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications for accurate operation. Develop user interfaces as per project specifications and provide technical support to installers and customers in various formats. Facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure they understand how to efficiently utilize the installed systems. Execute advanced system analysis and diagnostics to troubleshoot and rectify system issues. Oversee and coordinate system installation tasks with contractors on-site as necessary. Conduct final walkthroughs with owners and construction managers to address any outstanding issues and secure sign-off on completion. Report weekly on time spent per project assignment, ensuring accurate project management oversight. Mentor and nurture talent within the Application Engineering team, fostering a culture of learning and development. What You'll Need: A Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering, or a minimum of two years of relevant experience in Building Automation Controls and associated fields. At least two years of hands-on experience in Building Automation Controls, sales, or project management. Strong proficiency in HVAC systems, controls terminology, and Windows-based applications like MS-Word and MS-Excel; familiarity with Google Drive is a plus. Expert knowledge in at least three key areas such as Tridium Niagara, Commissioning, and IT Networking. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on detail-oriented execution. Passion for mentoring and developing fellow team members. Physical and Working Conditions:

This role requires mobility and physical engagement, including standing, climbing, and navigating job sites. Flexibility around working hours is necessary to meet project deadlines, and occasional travel may reach up to 50% annually. Compensation:

The base salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 per year, with potential bonuses based on performance. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent. Application Window:
