Senior Exchange System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Exchange System Administrator to lead the support, configuration, maintenance, and operation of our Windows Exchange Server environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the security and compliance of our email systems while managing both hardware and software components. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain, upgrade, build, and implement Exchange Systems. Ensure email security and compliance. Oversee SMTP configuration, routing, and security. Conduct daily monitoring of the environment, including hardware, applications, key processes, and scheduled jobs. Support and administer corporate email in Exchange 2016/2019 services. Manage mail gateway and spam filtering technologies with an emphasis on DMARC and DKIM technologies. Configure email spam filters. Develop, maintain, and contribute to procedural documentation. Manage current versions of Exchange, including patching and hotfixes. Handle user accounts and system access. Oversee tickets and issues sent to the System Administrator queue. Manage Shared Mailboxes and Public Folders. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of Active Directory objects and layout. Experience with domain administration, mail gateways, and spam filtering. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange. Expertise in Windows Server systems (Win2016/Win2019/Win2022/Win2025) and Windows Desktop platforms (Win10/Win11), including Outlook. Familiarity with Outlook on Macintosh is a plus. Knowledge of Exchange Clustering concepts (DAG). Expertise in Exchange PowerShell. Requirements: Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with SMTP, MX Records, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, and TLS. Minimum of 6 years of IT experience in an Exchange System Administration role. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including documentation. Quick to learn new technologies and skills.
