Job Description: Early Career DevOps Systems Engineer Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) in Moorestown, NJ, seeks a full-time Early Career DevOps Systems Engineer. This role involves analyzing, designing, integrating, and testing mission-critical software. Responsibilities include: Developing requirements using SysML diagrams and constructs. Troubleshooting product and system-level issues. Performing system analysis, design, requirements development, integration, and test of Linux/Unix-based real-time common middleware and/or fault detection/fault isolation services. Utilizing formal system test methods for software requirements verification, software system regression, and performance analysis. Identifying and isolating system defects during integration and test activities using diagnostic tools like debuggers, message injectors, hardware and network analyzers, and simulators. Required Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent. Understanding of systems analysis, design, requirements development, integration, and test of Linux/Unix-based real-time common middleware and/or fault detection/fault isolation services. Knowledge of formal system test methods associated with software requirements verification, software system regression, and performance analysis. Ability to identify and isolate system defects during integration and test activities. Experience with test diagnostic tools is essential. US Citizenship required; a government security clearance is needed for this position. Access to a specific facility is required. Desired Skills: Ability to develop test scripts (bash, csh, perl) and software test drivers (Python and Java). Ability to construct verification, regression, and performance analysis test plans and procedures. Ability to define and document system structural and behavioral analysis models for software requirements specifications and verification test threads (regression). Ability to decompose, define, and document system performance and software requirements. Ability to conduct product selection and design trade studies. Ability to prepare briefings and technical reports; excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary. Experience with Agile systems development and/or DevOps; familiarity with continuous integration frameworks like Jenkins is preferred. Experience with IBM DOORS requirements management. Experience with SysML/UML and IBM Rhapsody. Experience with data management, analytics, or prognostics. Ability to review detailed software designs and developed source code; Java experience is preferred. Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance; US citizenship is mandatory. The clearance level is Secret. Work Location and Schedule: The position is located at a facility requiring special access. The schedule is a 4×10-hour day, with 3 days off per week. Part-time remote telework is possible.
