Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Oracle Partner Solution Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in helping AWS Partners and Customers transform mission-critical Oracle workloads. This is an exciting opportunity to work with organizations on best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and assist in the migration and modernization of Oracle workloads, including databases, data warehouses, and enterprise applications.
You should be a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in software or technology sales or consulting. The ability to connect technology with tangible business value is essential. We are looking for candidates who can think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
Your qualifications should include:
8+ years of experience with Oracle databases and applications.
5+ years of experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, DataGuard, and ASM.
Experience with Oracle applications such as E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, or JD Edwards.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies.
Understanding of modern data architecture and analytics.
Oracle certifications (OCA/OCP/OCM).
A proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale Oracle solutions.
Strong expertise in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and optimization.
In this position, you will:
Lead technical discussions and architectural design sessions with partners and customers to develop Oracle-based solutions on AWS.
Create and validate reference architectures on AWS.
Provide technical guidance on migrating and modernizing Oracle workloads in AWS cloud environments.
Evaluate partner solutions and make recommendations for optimization.
Develop technical content, including whitepapers, best practices, and implementation guides.
Guide partners in identifying opportunities and risks with their technical decisions.

Location: This position is based in Arlington, VA. Compensation for this role ranges from $138,200 to $239,000 per year based on geographic market and experience.
