Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructures, including routing and switching, within a Cisco wireless environment. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain network systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Manage the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SD-WAN solutions. Collaborate with the security team to integrate network security measures into the broader infrastructure. Monitor and improve network performance, availability, and security by coordinating with teams and vendors to identify and resolve issues. Perform network analysis, including traffic flow, performance metrics, and fault isolation. Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Provide expert-level support and mentorship to junior network engineers and team members. Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Skills/Must have: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching (or higher). Experience configuring and managing hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, load balancers). Familiarity with all major network protocols.
