Cloud Development and Operations Engineer

Description Join our dynamic team as a Cloud Development and Operations Engineer! In this role, you will design and implement innovative solutions for complex application challenges and deployment strategies. Responsibilities: Collaborate with customer development teams to deploy applications across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. Interpret and implement architectural designs for deployment. Deploy modern containerized applications using ECS, Azure Container Services, and Kubernetes. Conduct quality assurance reviews for both new and existing software products. Qualifications: Experience with Terraform, Chef, Puppet, and CloudFormation. Minimum AWS SysOps Associate certification required; AWS DevOps Professional certification preferred. 5+ years of technical experience with at least 2+ years of public cloud expertise, particularly in AWS. Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration. At least 2-3 years of experience setting up DevOps with AWS components. 1+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services. Proficient with EC2, ELB, EMR, S3 CLI, and API scripting (Bash/Shell, Python, JavaScript). Experience with container orchestration using ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes. Skilled in writing scripts in YAML and/or JSON. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. A proven track record in automating cloud infrastructure with CloudFormation or Terraform. Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with a passion for advancement. This is a contract-to-hire position with a clear path for growth into leadership roles such as DevOps Lead, DevOps/Delivery Manager, and Director.
