As a Principal Security Engineer, you will:
Lead architects for significant security projects, shaping the security strategy of the department.
Ensure Amazon's leadership in delivering top-notch security solutions to customers while safeguarding internal information and data.
Utilize your broad experience in cyber security to navigate complex security issues and lead teams across various disciplines like penetration testing, security operations, and identity management.
Engage as the primary contact for external clients regarding information security inquiries, providing insights into threat protection and modernization efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience identifying security risks and crafting mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep hands-on expertise in at least two of the following areas: network security, embedded security, cryptography, web/network protocols, data structures, algorithms, software development, threat modeling, or vulnerability assessments.

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US locations, with a base pay range from $146,600 to $218,100, alongside potential equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
