Join Amazon's Customer Service organization as a Senior Software Development Engineer and contribute to our mission to drive automation and reduce defects for our customers. We are looking for dedicated software engineers eager to tackle complex technical challenges while collaborating with engineering and business teams around the globe. Our goal is to be the Earth's most customer-centric company, creating a place where anyone can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. As a key member of the Amazon Stores Customer Service (ASCS) Product and Tech team, you will play a vital role in delivering impactful technical changes from a well-defined roadmap of innovative projects. These projects include automation for image and media analysis and the development of new communication notifications such as Email, Push, and SMS. Key Responsibilities: Be the technical leader

for your team, guiding the development of innovative solutions addressing root causes of defects. Mentor fellow engineers

to help them realize their full potential. Think strategically

about system impacts and long-term sustainability. Advocate for operational excellence

across projects. Design scalable systems

using Amazon and AWS tools. Streamline team processes

by creating effective feedback mechanisms. Communicate technical challenges and solutions

clearly to non-technical audiences. Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of professional software development experience. 6+ years of programming experience with at least one software language. 6+ years of experience leading design and architecture for new and existing systems. Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team. Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of experience with full software development life cycle, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
