In this role, you will: Lead complex, high-impact technical programs that power Amazon's comprehensive digital video studio technology organization. Drive architectural decisions and set the technical strategy for next-generation studios businesses involving Sales, Intellectual Property, Financials, and Residuals. Partner with engineering teams to develop scalable solutions that manage vast amounts of global content data. Collaborate closely with MGM Studios, Prime Video leadership, and cross-functional teams to create innovative entertainment experiences. Mentor fellow technical program managers, promoting engineering excellence and high standards. Your impact will include: Establishing the technical foundation for delivering award-winning content to audiences worldwide. Designing and implementing systems that manage intricate content relationships across various dimensions such as regions, languages, licensing, etc. Leading initiatives that enhance operational excellence throughout Amazon's global entertainment ecosystem. Integrating MGM's legendary content library with Amazon's advanced streaming technologies. What You Bring: Deep technical expertise in large-scale distributed systems and architecture. A proven track record in managing complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders. A strong commitment to operational and engineering excellence, strategic thinking, and effective tactical execution. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence senior leadership and engineering teams across the organization. Experience in scaling teams and mentoring engineers to elevate overall performance. This position is part of the Amazon MGM Studios Business Enablement Technology Organization, which is responsible for delivering essential technology solutions supporting vital areas of the Studio Production Lifecycle, including Creative Development, Sales & Distribution, and Financial Management. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship). 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years encompassing the full software development life cycle, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
